How to stop chrome from auto downloading files

 · i am so sick of chrome automatically downloading files instead of opening them in my browser. a few months back this was not an issue. and the browser still forces me to download the file. After downloading it I can click on the downloaded file inside Chrome and it opens fine in the web browser.
