SteamCMD is a command-line tool that assists you in installing game server software. It's what you use the first time you download all the files needed for a TF2 server, and it's what you use to update that server. SteamCMD is not a game server itself, and does not come with any of the needed files to host one. This got me a little canoodled, since I wanted to install to my Program Files directory, but I learned too late that the SteamCMD prompt doesn't like spaces. So instead of setting my working directory to "C:\Program Files (x86)\ArkServ", I ended up with it creating the folder Program in the root of C:\. So, methinks if you want to install to a. Looking in the install dir, there is nothing there accept a folder with a long string hash name and a couple files in it. Looks to be some download management data. Retries simply produce the same result.
